An exciting opportunity has arisen for an End of Liner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
You will be responsible for label count and stock levels and printing labels for all site products.
Sunday - Thursday, 7:45am - 4:30pm
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure all labels are verified and accuracy of product detail information
• Liaise with the Technical team to ensure correct product codes and specs are legally compliant on all labels
• Liaise with Production Planner to ensure that correct forecast for all products are followed
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner
• Monitor work area to ensure workplace safety and report machine issues to Engineers/Line Leader/Operations Leader
• Work closely with Line Leader/Operations Leader to identify any print errors
• Dispose of any unused labels following the correct procedures
What are we looking for?
• An operational background within similar role – working knowledge of a pack house line
• Experience from a fast-paced environment (fresh produce or food industry are desirable)
• Strong practical skills with mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work quickly and methodically
• Good communication skills with ability to follow instructions
• Good IT Skills - ideally in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of PR2 (desirable)
