An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Mover to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
The hours for this role are 8am - 4:45pm, Sunday - Thursday
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure all pallets are safely loaded and each pallet carries the company’s pallet I.D labels, Destination labels and mixed pallet labels.
• Undertake MHE truck duties as required, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed
• Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures, food hygiene legislation and health and safety guidelines
• Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times
• Ensure all products are scanned to location accurately
• Ensure all the labels match the physical product at all times
• Ensure MHE machinery is driven correctly at all times in line with Endorsement Policy/Health and Safety Policy.
• Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance as appropriate
• Assist in managing the product flow through the Warehouse, Report defects or poor quality to Line Leader
What are we looking for?
Essential:
• Previous experience working in a Warehouse/manufacturing, fast-paced environment
• Good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically
• Understanding of warehousing processes and procedures
• Ability to scan products into system locations accurately using RF Gun
• Ability to push / pull pallet trucks
• Good communication skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Flexible
Desirable:
• Forklift Truck License
• PPT License
• Product Knowledge ( Goods In )
• An understanding of good manufacturing practises
• An understanding of technical requirements and procedure
