We are currently recruiting for Multi-Skilled Engineers to join our ever-growing team here at Forza Foods. This is an exciting time to be joining Forza Foods as we support Asda on their journey to becoming #2 in the market.
Shift Pattern - 4 on 2 off rotating shift pattern (05:30am - 14:30pm & 14:15pm - 22:30pm)
Your key responsibilities will include:
In this position you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all onsite equipment in line with department and operational strategy. You will attend breakdowns promptly and make repairs to a world class standard whilst also ensuring all engineering activity complies with technical legislation. In the role you will be required to have excellent communication skills, with a proactive hands-on approach to really drive performance and manage effective working relationships across multiple teams.
Safety here at IPL, Forza and Kober is our number one priority and as one of our Engineers you will lead by example in the space, monitoring work areas to ensure our workspace is safe and clean. You will regularly promote Safe Working Practice and Colleague Safety.
As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will also support on the proactive side of Engineering by completing regular machine maintenance programmes to reduce production downtime, ensuring all paperwork is completed to the highest of standards and Identify ways to maximise the “up-time” of each machine through enhanced cleaning or maintenance schedules.
What are we looking for?
Here at Forza Foods, we are looking for Engineers who ‘Dare To Try’, can work collaboratively as part of a wider team, has a proactive and forward thinking mindset, as well as an all round team player.
• Electrical qualification with extensive additional mechanical ability/experience
• ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical
• PLC Programming/Diagnostic Knowledge - desirable
• Qualified to 17th edition wiring regulations - desirable
• Proven FMCG work experience
• Work with and install single /three phase electrical circuits
• Effective communication skills with confidence to challenge and question
• Flexible and self-motivated
• IOSH Certificate - desirable
• Knowledge of VFFM’s, Slicing, Thermo Forming, metal detecting and weighing equipment is desirable.
