My past roles include working as a coal mining face worker for almost 10 years, a lab technician for 12 years at a midlands iron foundry and 5 years working in food manufacturing for Hazelwood Foods. I have been at Forza Foods for 10 years now and I find this job very satisfying, I honestly love it. Every day has different tasks and targets and I get great satisfaction from reaching these targets and being thanked for doing so by management team on a regular basis. I first found out about Forza Foods at a Job Centre and was interviewed the very next day. I started the following week and was trained on numerous tasks. I've learnt quite a lot in my 10 years with the company and have been given multiple opportunities to progress further, including standing in as a line manager. The culture is excellent, we work together, as one team, with people from all around the world. Andrew

I decided to apply for a role at Forza because of the flexibility it offered in terms of working days. I received a phone call a short time after I submitted my application. The process was efficient and I was offered a position immediately. I enjoy my day-to-day responsibilities and I learn new things and develop new skills every day. I am given a high level of responsibility (which enables me to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself). I am trusted to do my work and the most rewarding thing about my role is that we are delivering high quality products to Asda, of which I play part in this process. Forza is a great place to work. We are all well supported to do our best and achieve the best possible outcomes for our client and ensure that our products are delivered to them on time. Weronika

When I graduated I was looking for an opportunity that would allow me to gain experience in a work place environment and still be able to carry on with my studies. I found this role with Kober's Graduate Scheme. They have supported me and encouraged my learning as well as helping me develop my skills within the company. I have a very versatile role within the accounting team, every day is different as I could be working on any number of accounts. Fillepe

When I first joined Kober I worked as a slicer in the High Care department. Kober gave me the opportunity to progress my career and supported me in getting an FLT qualification. I am now in a role that I really enjoy in Dispatch. I have and will continue to recommend Kober as a good employer, they have always supported me in and out of work with any issues that I may have. I was originally hired by an agency to work in Security at Forza Foods and after a short time they decided to take me on full time and moved me to Kober. This worked out well for me because it is much closer to where I live. I am the first person people meet when they come to site and one of my duties it to make sure everyone is and feels safe at all times. One of the things I enjoy about working at Kober is that they are very compassionate and understanding. Jason

When my friend told me there was a meat processing factory nearby I decided to apply because I already had previous experience. I applied to be a Factory Operative but quickly became a Training Support and am now a ‘buddy’ to help all new starters settle in to their role. I love this part of my role as it makes me really happy. The most interesting thing about my job is meeting new people and that I learn something new from them, as well as me helping them to learn. I enjoy working for Forza and feel supported here, there are so many helpful people here. The company also supports me with helpful training courses that improve my skills and knowledge. I feel very confident doing my role and helping others theirs. Anna

When I first started work here I was a Label Coordinator through an agency, Kober then gave me a permeant contract. I have always wanted to work with people and Kober has given me the opportunity and support to progress and grow within the company. I am now HR Advisor and every day presents a new challenge, be it working with new people or learning new things from my fellow colleagues. Bartosz

In the past career I have held multiple roles. I have been a Bar Manager for almost 21 years and I have also owned my own fish and chip shop and restaurant. I initially applied to Forza Foods just to see what it would be like and I’m still here! The best thing about working at Forza Foods is the variety of the work and the great people here. The culture is good and I come to work because I enjoy it and I feel like if I needed any support, all I would have to do is ask. Robert
