About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hygiene Team Leader to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Working as part of the Quality Assurance Team the Hygiene Team Leader will play a key role in ensuring the hygiene of our unit is compliant with Company standards as well as supporting in the development of our site’s procedures and practices.
 
Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm

Your key responsibilities will include:

The Hygiene Team Leader will oversee the day-to-day supervision and training of the hygiene team, supporting in the development of site hygiene procedures for new assets
As an expert in your field you will be responsible for completing annual allergen cleaning validations whilst Ensuring that hygiene equipment is fit for purpose and operational at all times
You will provide cover for absence in the team and support Production in cleaning changeovers to reduce downtime

What are we looking for?

You will be an experienced and passionate Hygiene Leader who has previous experience within a Food Production or FMCG environment
Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
As a knowledgeable leader, you will demonstrate the capability and drive to motivate colleagues, teams and peers by using interpersonal skills
You will have excellent communication skills and will have the confidence to challenge peers when appropriate. You will be able to work with diverse stakeholders and have the ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
Food Safety Certificate and COSHH certificate are all essential for this role
Knowledge of external audit standards is desirable for this position
