About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR - Lead to join our Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead the HR team with day to day HR activities
Manage Long Term Sickness from welfare meetings through to returning to work/medical termination
Dealing with HR queries
Process weekly payroll hours for a selection of the workforce
Schedule, support and offer guidance in absence reviews and write outcome letters
Schedule, support and offer guidance in grievance reviews and write outcome letters
Schedule, support and offer guidance in disciplinary meetings and write outcome letters
Run various reports using the Time & Attendance System to produce information for the team and management
Refer colleagues to Occupational Health and deal with follow up meetings
Produce KPI reports on a weekly basis
Assist the HR Manager with projects 
Coach and develop Leaders that will improve performance and create a more engaged team and allow leaders to manage their own teams
Act as a champion to promote a culture that inspires colleagues to perform their highest potential, whilst ensuring the people plans are in place for future business opportunities enhancing career development and colleague engagement
To maintain excellent communication within the team
To ensure a safe working environment is kept for all colleagues
Report any Health & Safety issues to the Management

What are we looking for?


Strong communication skills both oral and written
Proven track record of Senior HR Advisor experience
IT literate
Excellent organisation skills
Excellent customer service
Team player
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Attention to detail 
Up to CIPD level 5 and/or relevant experience.
