We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to become a vital part of our onsite Commercial Team at our Normanton Head Office. If you are passionate about Procurement and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location: IPL Normanton
Contract Type: Permanent
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Lead grower interactions on a daily basis to ensure programme adherence and relationships are maintained
• Data analysis to assist buying team with:
Supplier Management, Seasonal Reviews, Supplier Payments, Purchasing structures
• First point of contact for all site day to day queries, resolving with the relevant member of the Business Unit if necessary
• Protect inbound by early identification of over capacity issues and manage contingency situation, when applicable liaising with 3rd party packers / suppliers
• Manage packaging forecasts for Business Unit, liaising with site, IPL packaging teams and 3rd parties
• Consolidation of packing plans for Business Unit
• Manage critical path for introduction of new lines / products/ pack types etc… into relevant site
Processing supplier/haulier claims, whilst ensuring the company claims procedures are followed
• Investigate packhouse issues with relevant stakeholders and keep the Business Unit updated
• Liaise with the Business Unit Administrator on deliveries into IPL sites
• Agree daily packing requirements with IPL Site Planners and liaise with despatch and site planners to manage load and go situations
• Monitor and investigate where necessary packhouse yields and costs providing updates to relevant Buyers and chairing weekly meeting with site to discuss performance
• Minimising waste and reducing cost impact to Business Unit
• Initiate and conclude the label confirmation process for new / existing lines by following the IPL Label Confirmation procedure
• Knowledge of and ability to step into planning role to provide suitable cover when necessary
• Spending time in packhouse identifying issues and improvement opportunities

• GCSE Mathematics or equivalent
