We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Manager - Finance (Financial Planning & Analysis) to become a vital part of our Finance Team at our Produce packing facility in Normanton. Position Details:
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 05:00pm
• Location: IPL Normanton, Hybrid working (2 days per week from home, 3 days in the office)
• Contract Type: Permanent
Your key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for day-to-day management of Group forecasting, planning and corporate reporting processes

Manage the Group CAPEX budget, supporting Operations Directors and BU Heads of Finance to deliver their plans whilst ensuring strong governance over the wider CAPEX process

Business partner with the various finance teams to deliver robust plans and forecasts – provide guidance, review, and an appropriate level of challenge where necessary; develop processes and continually challenge forecasting models to provide meaningful insight and analysis to key stakeholders and to influence business decision-making

Create quality written monthly governance packs for presentation to Asda & IPL Manufacturing Directors by BU Heads of Finance – insightfully summarising plans, forecasts and actual results, and driving actions

Communication of IPL forecasts to key stakeholders within IPL and Asda Finance, applying judgement to manage those communications carefully to ensure the appropriate actions are driven

Provide support to 2 direct reports, both finance graduates; responsibility for their professional and personal development within the business, and supporting them to manage and deliver the central overhead (SG&A) and CAPEX plans
What are we looking for?
- Proven industry experience in FP&A or within commercial finance
- Working knowledge of Anaplan, Power BI & Dynamics (or similar systems)
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to build strong relationships across the business
- Team management skills and ability to develop graduate-level calibre
- Qualified accountant preferred (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) although candidates qualified by experience will also considered
