Facilities Technician

• Tackle Minor Repairs: Handle minor plumbing, joinery, and building works to keep everything in top shape.
• Steel Work & Fabrication: Get involved in steel work and fabrication projects.
• Lighting Maintenance: Perform lighting repairs and replacements (no electrical work unless qualified).
• Maintain Interiors: Take care of ceiling, wall, and floor maintenance.
• Install Barriers: Manage barrier installations to ensure safety and organization.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct planned preventative maintenance for utilities.
• Conduct Audits: Perform various engineering-related audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Organize Workshops & Stores: Keep the workshop and stores well-organized.
• Support Engineering & Projects: Assist the engineering and projects department with various tasks.
• Enhance Site Appearance: Work on improving the overall appearance and amenities of the site.
• Repair Office Furniture: Carry out repairs to all office furniture and hardware.
• Promote Safety: Ensure everyone works in a clean, safe environment and make recommendations for improvements.
• Manage Parts Inventory: Record parts used and notify the Engineering Manager of any required.
• Clear Communication: Communicate clearly with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Strive for Excellence: Aim to achieve ‘World Class’ standards at all times while complying with policies and procedures.
• Protect Company Interests: Always ensure the best interests of the company are maintained.
