An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
As a Stock Controller you will work alongside the Operations Team and will be responsible for overseeing and identifying site stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve.
Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off Days - 7am - 7pm
Your key responsibilities will include:
• You will investigate root causes to any stock discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Identify ways of improvement following root cause analysis
• Record, report and investigate of all stock write offs at the site
• Make necessary stock amendments on the system and be involved in physical stock takes of stock holding at the end of financial quarter
• You will ensure that all pallet movements are correctly scanned onto a system and report/log any movement
• You will investigate any operation issues related to stocks
• Ensure that an end of day write on/write off report is summarised and submitted to Stocks Team Leader
• You will also manage the pallets the trays count
What are we looking for?
• Previous experience of working in the Fresh Produce industry or within the Food Industry
• Have excellent analytical skills along with experience of working to KPI’s.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• High attention to detail with experience of conducting audits
• Computer Literate with intermediate Excel knowledge as well as Microsoft Office.
• You should be reliable and flexible and ideally have the ability to work within a multi-functional FMCG environment
