About The Role


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Shared Services - Administrator to join our Finance team.
 
As Finance Shared Services - Administrator, you will process invoices in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable department, ensuring all transactions are accurately processed and accounted for, and timely payment made to all suppliers.
 
24 hours per week, between Monday & Friday, 8am - 5pm (open to discuss which hours are worked)
 
Please note that this is a Fixed Term Contract of 6 months
 
Hybrid working is also available
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure all Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable transactions are processed and accounted for within agreed times and parameters.
  • Maintain required checks and reconciliations on primary accounting systems and other controls such as spreadsheets as required.
  • Pursue all queries on invoices, particularly those which cannot be posted on a ‘first time’ basis.
  • Perform regular reconciliations to Supplier and Customer statements to ensure all transactions are reliably processed and payments made and receipts received on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that all receipts are correctly booked and there are no unpaid or beyond terms entries in the receivables ledger.
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties such as filing, post etc. 
 
What are we looking for?
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships of trust with external suppliers, customers and internal colleagues.
  • Previous experience of working in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, within a fast paced business.
